春日凝妝上翠樓。
忽見陌頭楊柳色，

THE young wife, upon whom grief has not yet come,
At the advent of spring, decks herself out and ascends the Kingfisher's Tower.
Suddenly, she sees over the country the bloom of the willow-trees,
And sorrows that she sent her husband in search of a peerage.
